Mardi 7 mai 2019.

14 ⁰ ce matin dans le bateau et Hera II n’a pas de chauffage. Le temps n’est pas beau pour un mois de mai en Grèce, il fait gris, beaucoup de vent et pas chaud. Nous partons après le petit-déjeuner vers Sami, le port où arrivent les ferries. C’est juste de longer la mer par une bonne route assez plate et en plus nous avons le vent dans le dos, du gâteau. Mais arrivés à Sami il se met à pleuvoir et nous nous réfugions dans un café où nous prenons un café grec. Jens aime beaucoup, moi un peu moins, le marc au fond de la tasse n’est pas my cup of tea (ha, ha, ha). Quand il s’arrête de pleuvoir nous allons voir le port. Nous avons l’impression qu’il y a encore plus de vent ici qu’à Agia Efimia. Nous repartons et nous offrons un très court arrêt plage pendant une éclaircie. Bain de soleil, il faut en profiter quand le soleil se montre et ultra-rapide bain de mer, elle est froide. Retour au bateau après avoir fait 20 km. L’après-midi, nous bricolons, changement d’huile pour Jens et un peu de couture pour moi. Jens ouvre le placard où sont les peintures, les colles, etc … et voit qu’un liquide collant y a coulé. Ce n’est pas facile à nettoyer et il va acheter du white spirit au … supermarché qui a de tout. Du coup, comme il travaille dur pour nettoyer le placard, c’est moi qui fais un diner coloré ce soir. Après diner, nous rentrons et fermons tout pour ne plus sentir le vent.

14 ⁰ this morning in the boat and Hera II has no heating. The weather is not good for a month of May in Greece, it is gray, a lot of wind and quite cool. We leave after breakfast to Sami, the port where the ferries arrive. It is just to follow the sea by a good flat road and in addition we have the wind in the back, a piece of cake. But when we arrive at Sami, it starts to rain and we take shelter in a cafe where we had a Greek coffee. Jens likes it very much, me a little less, the coffee grounds in the bottom of the cup is not my cup of tea (ha, ha, ha). When it stops raining we go to see the harbor. We have the impression that there is even more wind here than in Agia Efimia. We leave and we have a very short beach stop during a clearing. Sunbathing, we take the chance when the sun is showing and ultra-fast sea bath, the water is cold. Back to the boat after 20 km. In the afternoon, we work a bit, oil change for Jens and a little sewing for me. Jens opens the closet where are the paints, glues, etc ... and sees that a sticky liquid has flowed. It's not easy to clean and he goes to buy white spirit at ... the supermarket that has everything. So, as he works hard to clean the closet, I'm making dinner tonight, a colorful one. After dinner, we go down and close everything to no longer feel the wind.
