Dernier jour ici, nous partons demain. Beau temps calme le matin. Nous rangeons et faisons le ménage, puis allons en vélo à la plage Alonaki, à 3 km au sud-ouest de Preveza. Belle plage, nous sommes deux (vieux) couples sur la plage ! Nous nous baignons, prenons un peu de soleil et, subitement le vent se lève, fort, force 5 avec des rafales encore plus fortes. Nous sautons sur nos vélos et rentrons en pédalant dur pour aller voir Hera II, pourvu que tout tienne. Quand nous arrivons au quai, elle va très bien, elle danse pas mal dans les vagues, mais l’ancre et les amarres tiennent bien et elle a de la place, les voisins des deux côtés sont partis. Jens rajoute une corde en biais, cela aide. Avant de repartir Jens demande au voisin suisse de jeter un œil sur Hera II et lui donne son numéro de téléphone, au cas ou. Nous repartons déjeuner au café à la terrasses ombragée où ils servent des « tapas » avec la bière. Nous prenons 4 tapas et cela fait notre déjeuner. Re-tour en vélo cette fois vers le nord. Nous longeons la baie et revenons par la ville. Nous avons un nouveau voisin quand nous rentrons, un Halbberg-Rassi 46 pieds qui porte un drapeau japonais, première fois que nous voyons cela. Nous faisons nos bagages et allons diner d’un excellent poisson à notre taverna favorite.

Sunday, May 19th, 2019

Last day here, we leave tomorrow. Sunny and calm weather in the morning. We tidy and clean, then ride to Alonaki Beach, 3 km southwest of Preveza. Beautiful beach, we are two (old) couples on the beach! We bathe, take a little sun and suddenly the wind rises, strong, force 5 with even stronger gusts. We jump on our bikes and pedal hard to see Hera II, we hope everything is OK with her. When we get to the dock, she is fine, she dances a lot in the waves, but the anchor and the moorings are holding and she has room, the neighbors on both sides are gone. Jens adds a rope at an angle, it helps. Before leaving Jens asks the Swiss neighbor to take a look at Hera II and gives him his phone number, just in case. We leave for lunch at the cafe on the shady terraces where they serve tapas with beer. We have 4 tapas and that makes our lunch. Then ride number two, this time to the north. We drive along the bay and back through the city. We have a new neighbor when we come back, a Halbberg-Rassi 46 feet wearing a Japanese flag, first time we see this. We pack and go for dinner of an excellent fish at our favorite taverna.
